Since 2011, we have helped hundreds of children, families and adults cope with all of life's challenges, including depression, stress, anxiety and trauma. Our non-judgmental, nurturing approach provides a safe place where anyone can find a happier way of living.

Child and Adolescent counseling

For children and adolescents, talk and play therapy is often used as a means of facilitating communication and learning coping skills.  Your  counselor will use structured, evidence-based methods to help your child express themselves when they may not otherwise be able to verbalize complex feelings and emotions.

family and adult counseling

Families that need assistance coping with life events such as divorce, trauma, or grief will find that talk therapy offers a welcome relief.  Adults engaged in individual counseling often do so to alleviate depression or anxiety without the use of psychotropic medications.

How counseling helps

Whatever your needs, our skilled and experienced counseling staff can help you overcome and manage life stressors including:

  • Feeling sad, depressed, worried, or shy

  • Dealing with trauma or grief

  • Issues related to parenting and recent child birth

  • Self-injurious behaviors, including cutting and suicidality

  • Learning impediments, including attention disorders

  • Environmental stress, including separation, divorce, or job loss

  • Chronic illness or pain

  • Relationship issues within the family and outside

  • Addiction and substance abuse problems

  • Self esteem and self confidence issues

At its simplest, talk therapy can help you or a loved one cope with these issues and many others by first teaching an understanding of the problem and then offering the skills to manager or control that problem.

We may think that we fully control ourselves. However, a friend can easily reveal something about us that we have absolutely no idea about.
